The Japanese streaming service ABEMA recently announced that the new fantasy anime “A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero” (jap.: “Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan”) will start on July 6, 2024 with a double episode. We summarize all the details.

“A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero” is being produced under the direction of Tomoki Kobayashi (“Akame ga KILL!”) at Studio Gekkou. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (“Redo of Healer”) is responsible for the screenplay, while Shouko Yasuda (“Wasteful Days”) is creating the character design.
The opening “Up Start” is contributed by the Japanese singer Amatsuki (ending of the second “Iruma-kun” season) and the ending “Sutorobo Fantaji” comes from May’n, who has already sung the opening songs of “Liar Liar” and “Restaurant to Another World”, among others.
The anime adapts the original fantasy novel of the same name by Kaitou, which has been published in Japan since July 2021 with illustrations by Almic. A manga adaptation by Terio Teri has been published in the “Dokodemo Young Champion” magazine since August 2021.
